Elevating Emerging Talent

Brand Identity & Creative Strategy for UEL Fashion

The Challenge

To build a dynamic brand identity that reflects the creativity, diversity, and innovation of students and staff from the University of East London’s Fashion and Textiles department. The goal was to showcase the creative process and outcomes of current students and graduates—while also supporting student recruitment, industry engagement, and collaborative opportunities.

Our Approach

We began by engaging directly with the people at the heart of the department—interviewing students and alumni, and gathering visual content that captured the energy of the programme. Our process included:

  • Collecting and curating photography and design work from across the Fashion and Textiles department

  • Developing content strategies and event programming to attract prospective students, industry professionals, and creative collaborators

  • Creating a flexible brand narrative that celebrates individuality, collaboration, and the power of emerging voices in fashion and textile design

  • Designing experiences that highlight the department’s commitment to innovation, inclusivity, and cross-disciplinary learning

The Outcome

  • Strategic planning and delivery of on-campus events, exhibitions, and showcases

  • Annual production of print and digital brochures, along with social media content to support outreach and community building

  • Facilitation of interdisciplinary co-design projects connecting students from Fashion Design, Fashion Textiles, Fashion Marketing, Graphic Design, and Virtual Interaction Design
